Terms of Service

Edvance provides software for schools to manage students, staff, classes, attendance and related academic operations. We provide the platform “as a service” and may add, change or remove features over time as the product improves.

When you create or use an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them.
• Be responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Only enter data about students and staff that your school is authorised to hold.

School administrators are responsible for who they invite and the access they grant within their workspace.

Every new school receives a 30-day free trial with full access and no credit card required. At the end of the trial, you may choose a paid plan to continue. If you do not, your workspace moves to a limited, read-only state — your data is not deleted.

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose (monthly or yearly). We accept payment by bank transfer. After you send payment and upload your receipt, we verify it and activate your plan — usually within a few hours.

• Prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees and may change; we'll give notice of changes before renewal.
• Upgrades take effect once the difference is verified; downgrades apply from the next billing cycle.
• Because payments are verified manually, please allow reasonable time for activation.

If a subscription is not renewed, your workspace enters a read-only grace state after the period ends — you can still see your data, but new entries pause until payment is confirmed. We do not delete your data during this time. Restore access by paying and uploading your receipt.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to store unlawful content.
• Attempt to access another school's data or circumvent our security.
• Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure.
• Resell or provide the service to third parties without our written agreement.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms to protect the platform and its users.

Your school owns the data it enters. We process it on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. You can request an export or deletion of your school's data at any time.

We work hard to keep Edvance reliable. However, we provide the service on a commercially reasonable-effort basis and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not responsible for connectivity, device or third-party failures outside our control. (An offline mode for core tasks like attendance is in development and will be governed by these same terms once released.)

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edvance is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using Edvance at any time. We may update these terms as the product evolves and will notify schools of material changes. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breach of these terms. On termination, you may request an export of your data before it is removed.
